Overcoming transportation challenges: Telehealth removes transportation barriers, ensuring that lack of transportation doesn't hinder access to mental health services.
Improved outcomes: Research has shown that teletherapy can be as effective as in-person therapy for various mental health conditions.
Reduced wait times: Telehealth can decrease wait times for therapy appointments, enabling clients to receive help sooner.
Crisis support: Telehealth allows for immediate access to help during mental health crises, promoting early intervention.
Environmentally friendly: Telehealth reduces the carbon footprint associated with transportation to physical therapy locations.
I do acknowledge that telehealth may not be suitable for everyone, however I certainly encourage everyone to try it out sometime. You may just surprise yourself whether you are 8 or 88.
